l bought this car from a dealership, it did not come with a manual. It has the locks on the outside that you put a combination of numbers into to unlock it, l do not know the combination. what canl do?

you did not bother to ask before you bought it???If this is in fact, legally your car just stop back at the dealer and they will be more than happy to show you.

It cannot be rest. You can get your code by going to a Lincoln Mercury dealership with your registration and VIN. Take the car just to make sure it works before you leave. It is a 5 digit code. Ford will also retrieve your code with proper identification and proof of ownership but it takes a while. Best of luck.

on some years they put a sticker on the trunk lid with the code l dont know if 97 was one

Look in the trunk on the right side hinge for a sticker with 5 digits on it.Push the last number twice, it will unlock all the doors. If you add the number 6 to the code, it will pop the trunk, as well.
