They are a nice car, smooth ride and lots of comfort. They are fairly dependable, at least as much as the next car. If you get one with low mileage, you should be good. No, parts are not cheap.

you can not beat them! They are well built cars and share the same chassis as the Ford Crown Vic (also used as police cars) and the Mercury Grand Marquis. Body on full frame, front engine, rear drive, easy to work on and get parts for! Any 4.6L Ford car parts will fit the motor. You can get 500,000 miles out of them, go for it man, you will love the car, drive like a dream! GO BIG OR GO HOME! Also get great gas milage for the size of the car. Good luck!

Ask any Limo company-they typically get 250,000 plus miles out of them. They are dependably and ride great. Parts are reasonable for a luxury car. The only expensive fix is the air suspension.
