l have a 2000 lincoln ls v8. its an automatic and l was wondering if l could put a manual in it 5 speed or maybe even a 6 speed. if l could how much would it cost around.

The short answer is, yes. LS shares a platform with the Mustang, so you might have some luck with Mustang components.

The long answer is, it is going to cost Texa$, but anything can be done if you have a deep enough wallet.

lincoln ls did not make a 5 speed transmission for the v8..but only for the v6 because they did not build a transmission big enough to fit the car or to handle the power of the ls...hope this helps
