l am considering buying a 93 Lincoln for 1000 bucks. It has no rearview mirror, no air, and the drivers side window doesnt work. Was originally asking 1500. What should l do?

Do yourself a favor and pass on that deal, the old Continentals are problem cars and they cost a lot to repair them. l work for a car dealer and l tell all my customers if they can not afford a new Lincoln, they surely can not afford an old used one.

A '93 model year Lincoln Continental is one of Ford is WORST vehicles. The 3.8L V6 is extremely prone to timing cover/head gasket failures. The air struts & the air suspension compressor r also very prone to failures, let alone the transmission. All of the above mentioned items r easily more than double, if not triple the $1,000 in cost to repair EACH. You should run as fast as u can from this vehicle, as if Mike Tyson on steriods were chasing you! Hope this helps.

cant go wrong for a 1000 bucks. not much out there for that!maybe try and get it for 700 or so

Im going to warn you that once one power thing goes in the car a lot of other power stuff seems to go. Its kind of like new week.new problem.it gets very annoying after a while.very nice car but could cost you a lot more than a thousand in the long run.
