l am getting a check engine light on my car and l need to pul the codes, but l cant find the port. l bought the Actron code scanner (CP9015) from AutoZone but l dont know where to plug it into. l found the ''SUSP/EVO'' port which is on the passenger side firewall, but l cant find the ECC port. l know there should be a port that plugs into the scanner and then another single connector that plugs into the scanner too but l just cant find them. If anyone can help that would be great!
Thanks for the reply. l found it. Since my car is a 95 it is a OBD 1. It is actually located under the hood on the drivers side under a plastic trim piece. But since you were the only one to answer Ill give the best answer to you! Thanks for trying to help!

l believe that there is a port under the steering column, but not 100% sure. l have a 98 Mark VIII, but l always bring it to my friend who is a mechanic when there is a problem. You can always go back to AutoZone and ask them, or become a member of this website and post it in the forums, they are very very helpful:
