how do i get the seatbelt buzzer shut off

Buckle your seatbelt. Duh!

In 2002 Ford F150 is all you have to do is push the red button in and it stops.

PUT ON YOUR SEATBELT DUMMY!

Technically, u can find the buzzer under the dash & unplug it. That is easiest. They can be unplugged beneath the seat, but warning lamp may stay on. Always wear a seatbelt, there is no valid reason not to.

l installed seatbelts in 50 is cars which did not have them, & wore belts in the 60 is before others! l race & drive as though it is a science, but had more serious crashes in traffic, & am alive due to seatbelts, also more importantly to me right now, not seriously injured & inconvenienced. On my vehicles it was super easy. Crawl under the dash by ur pedals & locate a little box that is buzzing, or beeping (on my vehicles it is an annoying high pitched whine). Pull that box out of the little electrical thing it is attached to--like pulling a plug out of an outlet. As far as l can tell, it affects nothing else as far as driving the vehicle.

Second option. Pull that thing out & cover it with duct tape before plugging it back in. It quiets the noise considerably.

P.S. It is no one is business whether u wear ur seat belt or not. l wear mine, but l hate those stupid buzzers.
