It is o.k. The important thing is does she like it. Since it is her child she can name it howdy dowdy if she wants to, right? My son and his wife named their boys names that seemed kinda iffy to me but already the elder one seems to fit him to a tee. Sometimes people even end up being called something else or a nickname.
