1995 Lincoln Continental Electrical Ground Problem

l have a 1995 Lincoln continental that keeps shorting out the fuel pump or something. l changed the pump twice the second time l even moved the ground to a better location, that worked for about ten days now the car wo not start again. Can anyone help me?

lincolnsonline.com, or find a factory shop (e-bay) manual for the wire diagram and re-wire the fuel system. man good luck dude.

there is a fuel pump control module in the trunk mouted to the rear of the backseat. You will have to remove all the carpet to get to it. pop the cover off and you will probably find a small burn on the circuit board. Replace the controller and you should be good to go. Chances are the fuel pump was never bad and it was the controller the whole time. Turn the key on and jump the pink/black and the white wire and you should hear the pump
