When the air suspension was inflating, it started to make a loud noise, sounded like the air suspension was going out.. We turned the air suspension off, but I am wondering how much it would cost to fix it, and is there anyproblem with just leaving it off?I am trying to sell the vehicle and l wanna be able to explain the situation to potential buyers, but as far as I am concerned it is a luxury option, not mandatory.. what do you think?

well l can tell you that the loud noise was probably caused by the mounting bushings on the compressor going bad(makes it sound like the whole front of the car is coming apart). good news is it is very common and cheap to repair. if you replace the bushings yourself. it should cost you less then $40. if you pay someone it should cost less then $100. if you do not fix it it could cost you $1000 off the sale price of the car.

Motor is around $600 , easier to put expedition coil springs in the rear and leave air pump switch off
