Owners of 95 - 96 & 97 Lincoln Town Cars - l recently acquired a 95 Lincoln Town Car and the previous owner lost the Keyless Entry Remote Key FOB's. Can someone who owns a 95 Town Car and has the remote please tell me the numbers on the back? The numbers on the back are the same for each remote produced for that car, so another remote with the same numbers on the back will not work with your car unless it is programed to your car by using your personal security code for the car, plus l do not know where you live, in other words, this question is not one to get personal info of any sort. Just trying to locate a replacement for my car, l do not have the ones that came with the car, so l do not know the info for ones that are compatible. That is why l am asking the 95 Lincoln owners to help me out. l understand that the remote for the 95 will work on the 96 & 97 models also (if programed to the car). Thanks for your help.
l have contacted a local dealer and asked them what part etc, their response ''Why would l wanna do that?'' was the reply. l also contacted Ford directly and they could not pull up any information from my VIN there. l know how to program them, just need to know the correct part and FCC ID for my car.

all you have to do is , go to your ford,or l/m dealer. give them your VIN.#, and they can bring up on there computer the car, the histiory of the car and all the ing. codes, and how to change them. this dealer, dose not have to be l/m. any one who is a authorised franchised dealer, can do tis for you. good luck

go to Ebay most remotes will work even if not for a 95 Towncar the numbers on the back do not have to match exactly unless you have a memory remote in which towncars did not have only some years of the continentals so you do not have to be exact just go to Ebay and there are a lot of them that will work with your towncar.
