How do you change a ac filter on a 2001 lincoln ls v8

open the hood.
- remove the plastic cowl cover (between the engine bay and the windshield) on - the passanger side of the engine bay.
- the cabin filter is in the front of the cabin vent. there are two plastic tabs (part of the filter) that snap onto the vent

DUCE is right but to add. to remove the clips that hold the cover down. pushing the center of the clip in will release the clips. lifting the cover about 5 inches should give you enough clearance to remove the filter. undo the two clips on the filter. and wiggle it out. make sure to secure the clips on the the new filter. take the retainers and push the centers out the other way. insert them and pop the centers down and you are done.
