l do not have a bad room, but try a credit card type device.

get a q tip an pull off the fuzzy stuff
put it in the hole and open the door while pushing the q tip

use a coin and put it in the lock then turn it or use a bobby pin.

use a credit card, put it in the crack between the door and the wall and just push it in if that doesnt work then try getting in through a window

Try a knife.. and try to push the lock thingy that goes into the door jam back towards the door.

Or.. if you're in a newer house. they have the ''key'' on top of the door frames.

lol A LOT of bedroom doors have a hole on the outside part so try this trick: take a q-tip and cut off one of the ends with a knife. then you just stick it in the hole and push, maybe wiggle it around a little, and that should pop out the lock and open it.

Or if it is a hook and eye lock then it is easy,i use a notecard, just stick it through the door and push up it might take a couple tries but its pretty simple.

Just had to do that over Christmas. Grandkids locked themselves in the bedroom. My knobs have a hole in the middle of the outside knob, & u can insert a small flat bladed screwdriver & twist.

Some other knobs have a push device inside the hole, & for those l use a filler from a ball point pen. One or the other should work, without having to kick in the door.

I've done both over the years & l am tired of fixing the door jamb after kicking it in.
