even though you hear the compressor, that does not necessarily mean that it is actually working to blow any air. i'd just take it to an auto shop if l were you. or replace the compressor.

Blower motor working? Then check blend door motor,or the door itself cracked at the square drive hole where the blend door motor drives it.Huge common problem with Ford vehicles.Big money to replace too.

Check the blend door actuator that opens/closes blend door. l had to replace on my 2002 Windstar SEL. Very common problem with Ford vehicles. The blend door actuator cost $60 at the Ford dealer and l had it in in about an hour. Pray it is not the blend door itself, because that is a very expensive fix. First check the actutator as most of the problems with the blend door are from this part.

if not blowing at all neither cold or hot air it is not the blend door that would give u one or the other. l am sure u know it can not be thermostat it has nothing to do with it & for the purpose of heat the compressor does not need to work. You should go through & see what happens on every setting like defrost then A/C then all the other manual settings if nothing changes at all between them ur electronic touch pad is bad. If that is working then ur ATC (auto temp control) module is bad. Regardless u will need to take it to a L/M dealer for repair.

Most likely the blower motor controller mounted in the firewall however it could be the connector to the controller.

yup l agree, the blower Controller might be the problem ,this is only true if you do not have any air coming out of the register or only some speed is not working, that is of course after the fuse has been check
