does anyone else that owns a lincoln mark 7 have a problem with power steering

You will get really good technical support from the lincoln Mark VI l owners club. Join the forum. The steering units on these cars are not known for a lot of problems. The car is old, and that may be the main issue.

you are not saying what your problem is the steering in the mark7 is same as most other rack and pinion Ford products nothing special about them and usually no problems but the power steering units will make noise when fluid is bad over many years or in some cases the rack and pinion goes bad that is about all that can go wrong.
