People say l drive the chassis of a truck. Is the Navigator as powerful as a 2500, say Chevy? Ford F-250?
My model is a 2003 - pulls 8kips very well but..... it wont go uphills...

No, it is the same as an F-150, a 5.4 Triton V8. The amount it can tow will be a little bit lower due to the fact that it is an SUV which means it is heavier.

A 3/4 ton Navigator was available without air ride suspension in the 90 is but all recent models are 1/2 ton chassis, the same as an Expedition, not even an F-150.
