Took the car to the garage. mechcanic said fliud was very low. He refilled the fluid then l drove the car home with no problems. Next day the car started to slip again. One time l put the car in drive and it did not move. l shut it off then put it in drive again. This time it drove. What could be the problem?

Your transmission is shot. need to get it rebuilt or replaced as soon as possible. could be between $1200 - $2500
