Okay so exactly, Im looking for these questions. First. How much would it cost me to repaint a 2000 lincoln ls into say either a regular black or a chrome black? Second. What would be the price to completely reupholster this car?

Hey,
I'd say around 1,000-2,000 if you pay someone else to do it.
You should really go and see professionals to get a quote though!!

MAACO will do a basic spray job for approx $300, but you really need to spend $600-$900 with them to get decent paint and preparation so that it looks like a good job when finished. Spending any more on a 2000 Lincoln would not make financial sense. It will cost you from $300 each seat to get it re-upholstered and close to $500 for leather. Local upholsterers will likely do a deal if the seats only need partial work or you do the whole car with them. Good luck.

you dumb ass! you should have not gotten a green one, what the hell were you on?, but on a lighter note take it to amco and they will paint for about $500.

Just get a new one it is not worth the headache of painting it again. It will take the value way down by changing it from original. Like l said you dumb ass!

It depends on who does it. Maaco may be the cheapest, so a few hundred dollar paint job wo not be the best qualilty. You must get a good sanding job & quality paint to do it right. This will cost a couple thousand dollars or more since paint & supplies cost several hundred dollars & up, plus labor.
Do not spend the money if u do not plan to keep the car long. Upolstery is about the same price, as well. Are u sure want to spend this much on the car? The real answer is found by getting some quotes, so get out the yellow pages. You may find a good deal.
