ok so when driving at low speeds 35-45 only around there does my Lincoln lose power and shudder like CRAZY, l mean it shakes, but if l stomp on it then it will change gears and drive normal, but when l do real easy acceleration, like around town, it shudders, and im like well idk whats wrong. 200000 miles so l mean it has high miles but its been going good till recently. Does it need a transmisson fluid change or something else, l know it needs new plugs and wires. but someone please inlighten me

You probably need a new transmission soon. The same thing happened with my dad is Mercury and left us stranded out of town when the transmission blew. So if you have money for a new transmission, l would look into it before it causes you some bigger problems. Have it looked at first by a mechanic, because it may just need a transmission overhaul too. Good luck.

Start with a tranny flush and go from there.

The Universal Joint in the drive shaft may be bad--do it before the thing breaks and you drop the shaft on the road. No way to check it without a lift to get the car off the ground. Do it anyway--200K is a lot and it will go bad eventually

its perfect until 400000miles

Torque converter slippage, change the transmission oil, filter, make sure to drain the torque convertor. Tran. holds 11 to 12 quarts of oil. Shudder should stop after 100 miles or less
