does any one know why my lincoln town car keeps telling me the door is open when its not

dash says door ajar ,when doors are shot & and some times it operates correctly. stumped...

Have you checked your door switch? Sounds like you might have a short there.

One of your door switches is stuck, need to spray all door latches with oil, and open and close the door a few times to try to get it loose again

you need to lube up your doors you do not say what year your Lincoln is but l think its in the door handle if its a Lincoln say within the last 10 years just look and see if there is a button in the area where the door closes if there is no button then its in the door handle just spray some type of lubricant in there.
