Does this car get horrible gas mileage as l have heard?

Not horrible. Around 17 in the city. Thats no hybrid, but its not a Hummer either.

yes, l had one and l averaged about 13 mpg. l did not keep it very long, you can tell why. Very nice car though!

The V6 is not too bad about 19 ~25. The 8 is 16~18 around town and NMT 23 on the highway. Not civic territory but better than a lot of popular cars. The V8 has a tendency to tempt you to put your foot in it with a resultant low MPG. However, it does move out right smartly.
