Different rear for 10 more HP, monotone paint IE no chrome, perforated leather and way more desirable. By the way in 98 they made a special edition worth big $$$ if you could find one.

Looking at the 1996 LSC, the LSC model offered ten base horsepower more than the standard coupe edition did with its 290 Horsepower V-8 Engine. Also included, which was optional or not included on the standard Mark VII l was: Monochromatic bodyside styling, Euro-preferated seating surfaces, Luminarc headlamps, 3.27:1 Axle Ratio, Sport Suspension Tuning, & Directional cast aluminum painted wheels. These came with any of the available features from the standard Mark VII l which included: JBL Audio, Traction Assist, CD Changer (10 Disc), Moonroof, Electrochromatic Dimming Mirrors, Cellular Phone, & front floor mats.
The pricing for a standard Mark VII l in 1996 was around $38,000 with LSC pricing going between $39,500 & $42,000.

1997-1998 differ from the 1993-1996 models. They have power dome hoods, different grilles, HID headlights (1996 does as well) are larger and have a much advanced interior.
The LSC models for those years had monotone paint, no chrome, the higher horsepower and gear ratio, and the exterior trims differed, too.
