Anyone know where l can find information on how to do simple repairs on my 1982 lincoln town car without having to buy a repair manual?

There are lots of web sites out there for online auto repair advice, trying to get the mechanics to respond is the challenging part given the number of online advice requests. l owned a 1982 Lincoln Continental and used a repair manual.best bet, go ahead and spend the 15 bucks on a repair manual.

You may want to check with the forums on the lincolntowncar.org website. There are some users there who do have older style Lincolns who may know a couple of things about repairing that you are looking for; however, their primary focus is on the 90 is model Town Car. If that does not work, then l would recommend buying the repair manual. l know you do not want to, but. it may be the best bet.
