It is a 1990 Lincoln Mark 7 and l bought a pulley puller it is just confusing as.....well you no the rest.

If you dont know, pay to have it done. Otherwise have a P/S pump standing by.

The claws grab the pulley and stem of the puller pushes on the shaft of the pump. Try autozone.com the have a link to maintance manuals which might show pic .

really easy. put the bolt that runs through the middle in the bolt hole. put an arm on each side and just start twisting the bolt. the pulley will come strait off. l use them all the time when l work on my trucks

You should have a threaded shaft with a slotted nut, two half pieces internally slotted & a sleeve.The p/s pulley should be slotted on the end. Run the nut to the end of the shaft. position it on the hub of the p/s pump pulley & install the two half pieces into both the slots on the nut & the pulley, then slip the sleeve onto the two half pieces. Now holdinging all this together, tighten the shaft by hand as far as u can. Now start tightening the shaft with a wrench & hold the pulley from turning. After a few minutes of tightening, the pulley should come off.
