along the frame rail on the passenger side by the rear tire l think? good luck. NO SMOKING PLEASE

The fuel line runs underneath on the drivers side of car.The fuel line is attached to frame.Crawl under car on drivers side,find fuel line and trace to filter. Hope this helps

inside of frame rail on passengers side in front of the differential. make sure the new filter comes with new lock clips.

Cowboyfestus is the only correct answerer so far. The fuel filter on a 1991 Town car is secured to the driver side framerail, just ahead of the left/rear wheel. To remove, simply dislodge the two ''horseshoe'' clips on the inlet and outlet sides. Then, using a 5/16'' socket loosen the worm clamp that secures it to the framerail. Installation is reverse of removal. You can purchase your replacement filter from any Ford dealer for $9.74US (part number FG-800-A). Hope this helps.
