Yes it can. Actually any ASE certified mechanics shop will be able to service your car just ask around to find a good one.

lincoln is pretty much the same as a ford so yes it can be but you will save some money if you find a good ase sertified mechanic they can do the work also

Ford does own Lincoln, & u do buy them on a Ford dealer, so l would say yes. Most parts on the Lincoln r marked with Ford markings/castings. There will be no problem with u taking it to the Ford dealer for Service.

People, before u start bashing a dealer & saying how expencive they are, realize, they r specific to that make. They know the problem area is & r trained to work on that vehicle. Even technicians that work in genaric shops, such as smaller private or chain shops, work on everything. With working on everything u do learn more about a wider range of vehicles, but u tend to know less about specific vehicles. Technicians know what thier doing & r not the ''greese monkey's'' of the past. Not everyone can turn a modern day wrench. l would trust my vehicle at a dealer over a smaller private or chain shop. l am an automotive apprentice & before l was in the apprentiship program, l had all the family is vehicles service at the Dodge dealer. Sure things may be more expencive there, but u r getting factory OEM replacement parts for what is needed & not aftermarket. l am not bashing the aftermarket either, so do not get me wrong.

If they r happy with bringing it to a dealer, why ruin a good thing. If they did not like the dealer, they would have brought it to a smaller private or chain shop.

The service department will work on your car. If you need warranty call and ask if the dealer can file warranty repairs with Mercury.

As some said, msot anybody can work on them but if you rather the dealer, or it is under warranty.. any Ford, lincoln, or Mercury dealer will honor the Ford Motor company warranty for a brand not sold at that dealer (such as a lincoln being serviced at the Ford dealer) but be warned that you may have to wait for certain things in the way of parts that the lincoln dealer may have in stock (such as certain parts for the LS models)
