The only way to check the air ride is to drive the vehicle. You need to understand how it works so u will know what to check for. Look at others to get an idea of the height in the wheel wells. When u get in the SUV & turn on the key it should pump up u will be able to hear the pump run for a few seconds. Now turn off the SUV & get out make sure all doors r closed & stand back & watch it should drop down a inch or so. If u find one that does not have the right height after sitting there is something wrong do not let a dealer tell u that its okay it will air up when u start it. Sure it will air up but something is wrong if it is not sitting at the correct height all the time. As far as the price if it is clean & has been well maintained then yes that is a good price.
