The only obvious difference that l am aware of, is the '96 uses the plastic intake manifold, along with all the different fuel, air, & intake system layout, while the '95 uses the aluminum. Other differences r minor. The '95 uses two keys (one for the trunk, glove box, & inside trunk lock, the other for doors & ignition), while the '96 to current model years uses one. The transmission pan has a hump on the '96 model year, while the '95 doesn't. Those r the only differences l am aware of.
