l have a Lincoln 1989 VII. The brake pedal is hard to press and my brake light is always on. l thought it may have been the Booster. But l took it to a brake shop and he said it was not that but did not know what it was. The car has a Teves brake sysem if this helps.

have them or you take out the fuse for the ABS..If that does not make a difference bleed them next check for a bad caliper

l could be a simple fix. try bleeding the system. also if fluid looks cloudy, it could be contaminated and needs pressure bled.

Sound like you have something that blockes the fluid pressure in the brake sysyem.Try to bleed the system to see if any pressure is released when applying brake.Could be fauty Master cylinder.Seized calipers brake hoses colapsed internally etc
