l have a 98'' Lincoln Navigator, and every 9mos or so(This is the 4th one!!) it seems I am replacing the rear air suspension pump. Does anyone else has this problem? Also is it possible for me to pout regular shocks and struts in my navigator to avoid this happening again? Does anyone know if Ford is aware of this problem and is ther a recall or something, this is absolutely ridiculous. HELPPPPPPP!!!!!

One thing that can cause that is someone lifting your vehicle up on a lift without turning the air ride off first.

There are not any recalls that address this particular problem you are having, that l am aware of. l agree with the idea of substituting conventional springs to replace the air springs. Just order them for a similar year Expedition, since the two are the same body platform. The ride quality wo not be noticeable in my opinion.

There is an air line that runs right below the master cylinder that has a coupler on it that leaks. Ford Motor Company has an improved coupler that should fix the problem.
