no warning lights, the car was warmed up and running. it stalled and shut down.. can anybody think of a reason for this? note: it was cold out, but the car was fully warmed up and had a full tank of gas and no warning lights after it started again

l own a shop, & work on vehicles. The problem u had can be so many things, it would be hard to put the blame on any one thing. A problem such as this can be only diagnosed by using a scan tool that has snap shot capability. Snap shot tells u what everything was doing when the fault occurred. Unless it set a code in the computer, then this will be the only way to tell, & it would have to do it when the laptop/scan tool is hooked to the vehicle. Unless it sets a code, ur on board computer does not store information like this. l would have the codes pulled to just see if anything is there, & if not then there is just not much u can do until it does it, & lasts long enough for it to set a code.

I've put 1000 is of miles on LS V8 is and never heard of such a thing-must be something out of wack on that car, and l bet it would probably be hard to duplicate, so no one could diag the problem.
