where is the air ride pump located on a 1994 Lincoln mark VIII w/ a 4.8 v8

front driver side compartment under hood. might be hiding under washer fluid container. actually im pretty sure it is

some of these cars had two on them,one was in the rear,,on the right side ,covered by a removable panel ,,and on the older ones this was the main pump for the system,yours may also be like this..good luck hope this help,s.

Mike M is right on it is location. You can source these pumps on e-bay if u need one, although not inexpensive. If u r having problems with ur suspension it could mean that ur air bags need to be replaced...not cheap but u can convert them to struts (cheaper) but the ride is not as nice. The conversion will not allow the car to lower itself the 2 inches at 60 mph as it should & u will have to disable the air ride suspension warning system.

You should be able to hear the pump running when u start the car in the morning or after it sitting for a while if it does it may not be ur pump.

l have a 95 Mark VIII. Great car! Thankfully, someone else replaced the air ride suspension just before l bought the car last month.

It is actually a 4.6 V8!
