Should need a 3/8 or 1/2 inch ''Allen key'' (or socket) and a large screwdriver. l do not think they used a ''Torx'' head yet.

It depends on what kind of car you have. l think you will need a lug wrench. Maybe c clamp to push the pistons back. Probably a set of allen wrenches. l put a link for a website l have had a lot luck with below.

Probably an Allen wrench its a six sided l shaped bars about 4 inches long should be s.a.e. could be metric. to loosen the unit then pair of pliers to remove spring? once you've opener up just remove pads and replace.repeat removal procedure and to tighten up(clean) brake area maybe can of Brake cleaner or just dust off you use on computer.

Are you sure you have disc brakes on the rear???

If yes then what the other guys said. Make sure you have a large c- clamp to push the pistons in. A good dead beat hammer helps also to knock of the caliper if its a bit frozen.

The rear piston in the brake caliper (might) have to be screwed in counterclock wise, if so you need a special tool thats design to fit the surface of the piston. If it is that design you cannot push it into the housing of the caliper.

take it to someone who knows what there doing because brakes are too important to have a rookie working on it..your safety is too important

DO NOT USE A C-CLAMP TO RETRACT THE PISTON.
This will mess up the emergency brake adjuster.
Get the Chilton is and find out for sure, maybe the Auto Zone site will give you specifics.
