l have an 91 Lincoln Continental that has an airride problem. It was working about a week and a half ago, then the car just dropped.l started my checking the air compressor and it seems to be working fine, l turn the ignition key and the pump comes on and eventually turns off.The other day l went into the trunk and turned the switch off and began to unhook and reconnect the electrical connections that support the airride, then l turned the switch back on.The next day the rear end came up but the front end didn't.Today the rear-end came back down. Also, the ride control display is flashing. What should l do?Thanks

these air rides are very complicated and l would reccomend a dealership to get it fixed, it will store some codes but without a book you are wasting your time, l have fixed a few of these lincolns for this problem and have replaced the air compressors for this problem but without proper diag you are taking a chance.

YOU COULD HAVE A PIN HOLE IN ONE OF THE LINES, A BAD REAR BAG OR EVEN A BAD RIDE HEIGHT SENSOR.

FIND AN INDEPENDENT SHOP RATHER THAN THE DEALER BECAUSE YOU WILL BE MUCH HAPPIER.

first off for what it is going to cost you to fix the air system you can by a conversion kit to switch it over to regular shocks here is a website they have the complete change over for 469 dollars
