l am looking on buying a 2000 Lincoln LS with 69000 it was a one owner l pulled a Car Facts and it came back good l also went to a Ford Dealer and gave them the Vin# and that came back good as well. Thank you for any information you man have for me.

the only problem with Lincoln is as the get older the electoral system starts have problems

As with ANY vehicle, you need to consider the cost of brakes and suspension parts when they accumulate mileage. The only common concern with these cars that come to mind, is the shift solenoid pack in the transmission (symptoms for this concern are harsh engagements), and the coolant valves (symptoms for this concern are HOT air on one side, and COLD air blowing on the other side in the passenger compartment). Other than that, these are GREAT cars that are fun to drive.

my freind sayed that hes changed at least 3 cams in then so far bad cams?????????/ maybe

Not really none come to mind

they had some electrical issues on the first couple of years due to grounding. but it is nothing I've seen much of (might be more of an issue in the rust belt states)

Main issue I've seen is oil leaking from the valve cover gasket into the spark plug holes & causing some wicked misfires that people will swear the the transmission is trying to blow up or something. (Had one almost sent me into a windshield when it missed)

If problem has not really started, not too many problems other than an expensive gasket job.. The worst one was both gaskets, 8 coils, & 8 spark plugs. about a $1000 job
