Not enough info. Need year/make/engine, how long it is been running (how warm) before this occurs, warning lights on/off, etc.

'nuff said?

You really need to put more info about your problem. How does it run when you start it right away?
How long does it take to start?
Does it stall?
Is this fully warmed up or partially?
More info please.

Vacuum lock. You have a hole somewhere in a vacuum line.

l would suggest a bad starter, there is a thing called heat soak, thats when a starter gets hot after shutting down. But thats a no crank situation, does it crank and not start or not crank at all. If it doesnt start but cranks l would look at the ignition module for starters

Bite the bullet and take it in to the car shop and get it checked...
It is not worth you messing with it. If it clicks like you said it very well could be your battery going bad.

Good Luck

Change the starter or solenoid the part that is clicking is the solenoid some cars have the solenoid attached to the starter and some are located on the inside fender. Best thing to do is describe what year, make, model, engine size your car is.
