In 1979, the only thing readily available is the LEFT side, & it is for the MARK SERIES. If u have the Continental, u have a problem. Either the Continental was not manufactured in that year, double check the V.I.N. code, or u will have to search deep & wide. Out in the west, l use a place called Performance Warehouse for all my aftermarket special orders. There actually r parts available out there, u just need to know where to look. By the way, if ur Lincoln is a Versailles, the engine is a transplant. That vehicle only came powered with a 302 from the factory.

For Motor Mounts l suggest that u go to like Auto-Zone, Pep-Boys, or sometghing like that. Call around ur local Auto Parts Supply stores & ask them r they in stock?
You can ID the exact Engine useing the VIN# located on the Title or on the front dash usually visible from outside looking through the windshield.
This is important as it will also help ID the Transmission & the exact Motor Configuration.
Motor Mounts r pretty important units, l would not buy a used one at any time or for any reason.
You will need an Engine Hoist to lift it, these can be rented, but prep is needed such as disconecting allmost everything that is attatched to the Firewall, Fenders, Radiator, Oil Cooler, Battery, & such. These items should be disconnected & or removed to allow access to the Mounts & so that u have ample room in order to do the work needed.
A Haynes or Chilton Manual is allways a very good idea to use as a Guide & step by step for removal & replacement of the many parts that u will encounter.
Changeing Motor Mounts is a relativly easy task, but knowledge, patience & good saftey is allways the priority when attemting any such a major undertaking.
Lincoln Motor & Transmission is heavy metal!
