i have a 2003 lincoln aviator in which the air conditioner has a fungal smell; what can i do about this

are U sure its the A/c and not U...
just kidding..its mold in the A/C condenser, go to the car dealership and get some a/c freshener.its a spray..spray it directly into the condenser while the A/C is on.

Take it back to the dealership and make them find out what is going on. You paid enough for this vehicle and it should still be under warranty.

Mold may grow in or around the a/c evaporator core. All you have to do is spray something to kill the order, but you have to spray into the evaporator housing.

A lot of different types of ford products have that smell. You know when u been running the air & when u stop water runs out like it suppose too, well sometime all the water does not run out & it sits in there & mildews. The drain needs to be checked to make sure all the water is draining out. Depend on the design some had poor designs & it just does not all drain out. l wonder if all Aviators have this problem that is something u would want to find out. Go raise hell at the dealer while its under warranty.
