it represents propellers of a plane as Lincoln used to make jet engines before auto mobiles.

james m, l think you have this mixed up with the BMW emblem. With BMW the white is the rotating arc of an airplane prop and the blue is the sky. That makes sense, but the diamond emblem? l do not know, maybe. l just know that BMW for sure represents a plane prop.

The Lincoln Motor company was founded in Detroit by Henry Leland to build Liberty Aircraft engines for the first world war.The first lincoln car, the L series was introduced in 1920. The 4 Point Diamond Emblem is a airplane prop.
