how do i activate the auto dim headlights in a 99 lincoln town car

Lincoln discontinued the auto dim lights back in the early 1990 is so l do not think your 1999 has auto dim lights. But check your owners manual to be sure.

Are u asking about the auto headlight feature that turns ur headlights on when it is dark & then off when the car is turned off. The auto headlight feature is standard in lincoln town cars the automatic feature will be a slide switch on the bottom of the rear view mirror or on the headlight switch on the left side of the dash u can turn it to the left for the auto feature if there is not a symbol on the left side of the off position it is not in the headlight switch. hope this helps l personally love the auto feature u never have to worry about leaving ur headlights on & not being able to start ur vehicle.
