doors will lock and unlock with remote.l have tried everything that manuel said to do.

Do the doors lock? If the doors are locking, but the horn is not going and lights are not flashing, then it has to do with your car is settings. Check the owner is manual for instructions on how to change the notification.

l have a Chevy Blazer, and as long as I've had it, it has never chirped or flashed when l used my remote to lock it! If you find out how to fix it, let me know!

Is it a chevy by any chance? l see the comment from the person that has a chevy blazer, & l have a chevy equinox that does the same thing. But the weird thing is that it only happens sometimes.and other times it works OK. And when it is not working, the horn also does not work at all. Does ur horn still honk?

I've come to the conclusion that something must not be connected right & l am going to have to take it back to the dealer, which might also be ur best option. Sorry l can not be more help than that.

There are many cars that will not make noise or flash lights when you use your remote. The way l make sure mine locks is pressing lock as soon as l get out of the car and listen for the locks to activate.

Try locking the doors manually with the key then unlock them with your remote. Then use the remote everytime you lock it. This works on mine.
